Talladega College invites applications for the position of Dean of Business and Administration.
Requirements:
• Responsible for the implementation of educational policies under their academic areas.
• Supervising faculty, recruitment, hiring and evaluation processes within his/her division; providing leadership in developing new academic programs and curriculum improvement; providing leadership in outcomes assessment; recommending students for degrees who have satisfied graduation requirements in their major fields.
• Reviewing and approving department course schedules; assisting the Office of Alumni Affairs and Institutional Effectiveness with tracking graduates; and planning and allocating budget resources.
• Will be expected to teach 9 credit hours in Business and Administration per semester.
• A commitment to participate in division and college-wide activities is also expected.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Business Administration and teaching experience at the college level preferred with at least 18 graduate hours in one of the teaching disciplines in Business and Administration. The applicant must have at least three (3) years of successful teaching experience at the college level. Administrative experience at the college level preferred.
